Charles Beck

Hello! I am excited for my first year as the tech integrationist at Oak Grove and Valley View Middle Schools.

As tech integrationist, I oversee a variety of items within the school including student Chromebooks, staff technology, our makerspaces, and instruction in digital literacy and digital citizenship. 

For the last five years, I served as the media director at Olson Middle School. I have also previously worked as an art teacher, a photographer, and a theatrical costumer and stage makeup artist. This is my 8th year in school technology and my 6th with Bloomington Public Schools. I have a bachelor's degree in art education from Wisconsin Lutheran College (2006) and a master's of library and information sciences from the University of Wisconsin: Milwaukee (2014).

When not at school, I enjoying reading, running, music, classic movies, and spending time with my wife and three sons. We live here in Bloomington.
