Notice of Public Meeting

In accordance with the Joint Powers Agreement for the Metro South Adult Basic Education Consortium, Section 3.D., the Board shall be conducted in a manner consistent with the Minnesota Open Meeting Law.  As such, the Board hereby gives notice of a special meeting of the Metro South Consortium that will take place on May 3rd at 3:00 p.m. in room 225 at 2575 W. 88th Street, Bloomington MN.  The purpose of the meeting is to discuss program planning for the 2017-2018 school year.

You will see a variety of ways in which Community Education provides lifelong learning opportunities for all. We invite you to participate in our program and take advantage of the many opportunities for young children, youth, families and adults. Community Education has something to offer all members of the community from babies to older adults.

Mission Statement

The mission of Community Education is to bring together school and community services to meet each individual's unique needs by:

  • Facilitating development of lifelong learning for all;
  • Encouraging citizen involvement and participation in education and community development; and
  • Building partnerships and promoting maximum cooperation and coordination of programs, services, and resources.
